As will all basils and other members of the mint family, Holy Basil is very easy to grow from seed.
Direct sow in your garden after all danger of frost is past. Basil like full sun and well drained, amended soil, but will also do well in partial shade. These can also be grown indoors in a container as a kitchen herb plant, on a sunny windowsill or counter. Pick fresh leaves as long as the plant lasts. The best, tenderest leaves are usually obtained before the plant goes to flower.The plants which produced this seed were Peacefully Home Grown at our home garden .
