Description

These beautiful agate bracelets come on multiple strands of stretch elastic for durability of wear and ease of use.
Each smooth 12mm bead is carved with the buddhist mantra of 'Om Mani Padme Hum' in Tibetan script.
Each carved letter is enhanced with embedded gold paint.

The bracelets are unisex. The display pictures show it being modeled on an average man's wrist.
On a smaller female wrist, the bracelet may have more movement, but even on a man's wrist it is very comfortable to wear with no tightness from the firmer fitting at all.

The inner length of the bracelet is approximately 20 centimeters.

The genuine agate beads come in a mix of colors, including golden yellow, deep orange, deep green, light blue, burnt red, and black.
The bracelets can vary as to the order this mix is strung, and your order will be randomly selected from what is available in stock.
The displayed pictures give a fair rendition of what you will receive, with only small variances.

The stones have a lovely energetic feel to them, which is relevant to those interested in gemstone healing and the metaphysical powers emitted by agates.
Agates are particularly known for their protective, grounding, centering, and balancing properties, as well as for improving mental concentration and perception, and raising one's consciousness.

The bracelets can also be used as a mini mala (held in the hand), as the beads can be easily gripped, pushed and turned for counting during prayers.
There are 14 beads on each bracelet.

Om Mani Padme Hum:

Mantras are sacred sounds that are said to help attune the mind and to effect healing in the physical and energetic bodies, leaving you feeling refreshed, clean and purified.
They can be said out loud in chants and recitations, or they can remain internal, in your thoughts - so the mantras on these beads stimulate this process whenever you view them.

The mantra carved onto the beads is one of the most common buddhist mantras known in the western world and is said to produce a state of dynamic compassion in the person uttering or thinking it.
It is the mantra of the buddha Avelokiteshvara, and one of the simple yet profound teachings which accompanies this mantra is the concept that when the mind and heart become united, anything is possible.

The traditional translation of the mantra goes thus, "O radiant jewel in the lotus of my heart, please shine brightly. May my heart have the strength to feel compassion for all sentient beings."
The meaning of the mantra can be encapsulated in the concept of "Love is everywhere, and is everything."

The individual sounds can be interpreted in keywords this way:

Om - generosity, bliss
Ma - nurturing, purity
Ni - patience, tolerance
Pad - perseverance, prosperity
Me - concentration, transcendence
Hum - wisdom, peace

Now, that's a wonderful set of blessings for anyone !
