It forms a part of a system of teachings and practice conferred by the Buddha to his disciples. Kaalchakra Mandala depicts Eight Fold Paths leading to perfection, right belief, right resolution, right speech, right action, right living, right effort, right thinking, and peace of mind through meditation. In Tibetan Buddhism, a mandala is an imaginary palace that is contemplated during meditation. Each object in the palace has significance, representing some aspect of wisdom or reminding the meditator of some guiding principle.
